Skill Upgradation Training

In the village Kanoi of district Jaisalmer, a skill upgradation training program of sewing was conducted from 15 Nov. 2010 to 14 Dec. 2010 by GVSS in association with NABARD, Jaipur. 25 women were trained in this programme. The women have started their own small scale income generating trades after enhancing their skills in these training programs.

Micro Enterprise Development Programme

Micro Enterprise Development Programme was carried out in Jaisalmer & Jodhpur districts with financial help of NABARD, Jaipur. The main objective of this programme was to conduct place-oriented short term programs aiming to provide long term livelihood support to beneficiaries by enhancing their skills. The programme is focused upon earning livelihood of the SHG members by their skill enhancement so that they will run their own trades successfully.
